Because of the horse I am grateful. They led me to the question that has been my driving force that brings me to today  “Who did I need to be as a human for a horse to want to connect with me without having tools in my hand to convince them, without having treats in my pouch to motivate them…who did I need to be? Because of the horse I have been humbled, they forgave me when I thought I knew everything but ultimately knew nothing. They have been my best teachers and my best friends; I can’t imagine my world without them.
