A Vision for a Better World Through the Wisdom Horses Teach

I’m Paula Curtis, a lifelong horsewoman who cares deeply about helping horses and humans feel more connected, more capable, and more at home with each other.

For over 30 years, I’ve taught and trained with one guiding belief, the real magic happens when we learn to listen. Not just with our hands, but with our awareness, our timing, and our heart.

That’s why I created the Online Horse Fair. It’s a place to explore the many branches of horsemanship and care, and to find what truly supports you and your horse, without the pressure of one “right” way.

This year is our 8th Annual Fair, and with the Year of the Fire Horse as our backdrop, it feels like an invitation to show up with fresh courage, honest curiosity, and a deeper commitment to the partnership.

To me, riding and training aren’t just about technique. They’re a journey of connection, awareness, and personal growth. I’ve seen how much our energy, emotions, and mindset shape the partnership we build with our horses.

When I slow down enough to truly understand my horse, what motivates him, what worries him, what brings him alive, new possibilities open up for both of us.

I’ve spent my professional life teaching and training horses, and supporting the people who love them.

Over the years, I’ve owned and managed three training facilities, and I’ve now settled into a peaceful home just outside of Jamestown, Tennessee.

My purpose has stayed steady through every season, to help you understand your horse more clearly and move forward with practical tools, grounded confidence, and a relationship that feels good to both of you.
