Her approach combines practical horsemanship with a deep respect for the horse as a sentient partner, emphasizing trust, communication, and long-term soundness.
Ansley is also the founder of the Equine Wellness Academy, an online learning platform designed to educate equestrians with the knowledge and tools to care for their horses with confidence, clarity, and compassion. Through the Academy, she brings together her experience and passion to create accessible, horse-centered education that prioritizes equine welfare and soundness.
Whether she's working in the arena, barn, or classroom, Ansley is committed to improving the lives of horses through education, compassionate care, and training methods that put the horse’s well-being first.
At the heart of it all is a simple goal: to help horses feel better in their bodies and safer in their relationships with humans. When we take the time to learn their language and honor their individuality, everything changes- for them and for us.
Because of the Horse...
I have learned to listen before I speak, to observe before I act, and to lead with empathy instead of ego.

DAY 1
★ Working With Poll Tension
Poll tension in horses can manifest itself in several ways. In this video we are discussing what behaviors your horse may exhibit if they're struggling with poll tension as well as some key areas we can focus on treating to help alleviate it.
DAY 2
★ Working With An Anxious Horse
Working with horses in a therapeutic setting requires adaptability, awareness and an understanding of equine behavior. Horses are not always calm or predictable during hands on work and effective treatment depends on recognizing and responding to their emotional and physical cues in real time. In this demonstration, you’ll learn how to accurately interpret a horse’s behavior during hands-on work, identify signs of anxiety or restlessness and adjust your approach to maintain safety and effectiveness. You’ll also explore practical strategies for navigating challenging moments, staying grounded when a session doesn’t go as planned and pivoting your treatment plan when faced with unexpected roadblocks.
