Horsemanship Retreat at Horse Haven in Poplarville - 27 min. 47 sec. Day 1 Horsemanship

Marci is battling breast cancer and comes to a retreat to gain confidence with her mare Leda. Leda was passed up previously by two different trainers for being overly sensitive, disrespectful, and spooky. Rick and Stephanie Neckerman attend the retreat to build confidence with their paso fino Bam Bam. Through the retreat his owners gained the confidence to handle Bam Bam and built a relationship of trust and leadership. 

Clinic in Osteen, Florida. - 23 min. 26 sec. Day 1 Horsemanship

Michael colt starts quarter horse rescue filly Tina. Tina is too in the pocket and not respectful until Michael takes her through the Respect Series. Diane and Alisha bring Ria, a 7 year old mustang from a wild horse rescue center. Ria is explosive and resorts to bucking whenever she is asked to move forward.

Pam and Lee Anshutz attend the clinic with Dinero, their half walker half paso gelding. Dinero is flighty, dumped his owner, is spooky/disrespectful, and has difficulty giving into pressure.

Adrienne Dymesich brings Logan the Morgan Stallion. Logan has the habit of yelling and running backwards. His owner would like him to be a respectful stud that can go trail riding and compete in dressage.

Lori Gottsacker brings Michael her gelding Zeke. Zeke has flipped over backwards in the past and has become so dangerous he is scheduled to be euthanized unless Micahel can fix his rearing problem.

Java is a beautiful Tennessee Walker gelding who is spooky, reactive, and takes control whenever he is scared. Michael works with him and his owner Alissa to build his confidence and make him more respectful. Michael gets to work with Aurora, an all white Mustang mare. Aurora's owner, Shirlee Stevens, is her last chance for adoption. Aurora is undomesticated and Shirlee is an inexperienced rider who seeks Michael's help in getting Aurora started under saddle.

Clinic in Wichita, Kansas - 44 min. 25 sec. Day 1 Horsemanship

Michael works with Merlot, a 15 year old paint mare that does not give to pressure. Diamond is an unhandled filly that has not even been halter broke yet. Michael catches, halters, leads, and rides under saddle in the first session. Diamond's owners then decide to send her for 30 days of training in Poplarville.
